In our increasingly standardized world, you might think there is a place for everything, and a service to match every need.  From our experience, this is not the case.  Often your need is quite different from that of another and finding a good solution to what seems like a small part of the business can become a big challenge.  

Non-standard problems need innovative solutions

Sometimes, these are not medical billing or RCM related issues. They are the annoying, frustrating, complicated little barriers to progress that may have a simple solution, but you haven’t found it or haven’t found the right partner to implement the solution you need. What do we mean? Perhaps it’s easiest to show you some examples that fall into this non-standard category:

  • Our client provides healthcare mail rooms for payors (not providers).  They open and scan the mail, and, if there is a paper healthcare claim, it gets scanned to EqualizeRCM and our team performs data entry overnight. Then we send back a data file that can be read by the payor’s systems. Everyone is happy.
  • Another client needs to collect non-standardized reports from hundreds of provider groups and provide them to a state registry. We collect them, perform basic checking, standardize the data format, and make sure the data can be received by the registry. Easy, but somebody has to do it.
